Why hose clamps: I consciously avoid crimped oil cooler hoses, as these specify a length and therefore may not fit all buses, because almost everyone routes them differently.
Furthermore, unpressed hoses can be shortened and better guided through existing body openings.

The supplied hose is of such a high quality that you no longer have to take any abrasion protection measures. The oil cooler itself is designed for engines up to 3 liters.
